Dar here! I am the Founder, Executive Coach, and the Author of the Little Pursuits.
I love to learn, explore, and find ways to grow. My background includes a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Business Administration. In addition to my educational background, I have 12+ years of professional experience in consulting, tech, and finance. My interest and passion for human behavior and psychology continues as I regularly follow latest research in neuroscience, psychology, and biology. These experiences have helped me to explore a wide variety of topics and interact with a diverse group of people in a variety of business settings.
It has been my privilege to coach individuals from varying backgrounds: people who are very clear about their paths (CEOs, senior executives, emerging leaders, and new managers) to people who might be looking for a change (career pivots, new graduates, starting new businesses, or people looking to change companies).
I am captivated by the stories I hear from my clients and love to help them explore options and find commitment to actions they can take to help move their career, business, or life in the direction that aligns with their values, aspirations, and visions.

Our Little Pursuits Story
Little Pursuits is not just here to impact the technical part of your professional life, we want to help you to craft a life that is truly aligned with your dreams, values, and vision of a fulfilling life. Several years ago, our founder Dar Patel began incorporating small changes into her life, resulting in a significant transformation of her well-being, perspectives, and both personal and professional pursuits. Motivated by this, she shared her newfound knowledge with friends, peers, and colleagues. Encouraged by motivating others in gaining confidence, finding fresh perspectives, and exploring new tools and resources Dar pursued training in coaching and launched her executive coaching business.
Little Pursuits gets its name based on the belief that all great goals are achieved by completing little steps consistently over time. We are here to inspire, motivate, and encourage actions towards change in your life and professional endeavors that align with your values and goals. Dar’s unique background in psychology and business equips her with skills to help others find their potential and build concrete roadmaps towards their goals.
